Pragma Holdings
The objective of Pragma Holdings is to act as an investment vehicle for the group and to provide strategic and operational guidelines for operating entities.
Currently the shareholding within Pragma Holdings consists of three main groups:
- Management 61%
- Investors 37%
- Employees 2%
Imperial Holdings, a listed company on the JSE, is currently the Main Investor with the specific objective to assist and finance future growth initiatives.
The Employee Trust has been created to allow employees to share in the growth of the company.
Group Shared Services are also hosted within Pragma Holdings offering Financial Services, ICT, Corporate Communications and Human Capital services.
Shareholding within Pragma Services Companies
As part of our expansion strategy the objective is to find suitable services companies which we can convert into Pragma branded entities by acquiring 50% shares within these companies. Currently Pragma Africa and Pragma Brasil are two such services companies.
Within Pragma Africa we have partnered with Ukhamba Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a black owned investment company, operating in Africa.
Within Pragma Brasil we have partnered with a local entrepreneur which has been in the services industry for a number of years.
Pragma operating entities are Pragma Brasil, Pragma Products and Pragma Africa.
