Continued service delivery without compromising employee safety

As we are nearing the end of an unprecedented year, I’m looking back with astonishment. Our thoughts go out to those who have been directly or indirectly affected by the virus in their communities. Whether you are a client or employee, I want to thank you for your commitment during these trying times. Without your support, Pragma would have looked much different today.

As an organisation, we continuously push employees to think outside the box and search for growth opportunities. The pandemic forced the entire company to operate out of its comfort zone. Yet, we stayed true to our strength zone and came together as a team with safety, service delivery and client satisfaction as our top priorities.

Today we are a transformed company. At the onset of the crisis, we took immediate action enabling employees to work from home. We have surveyed our employees, and the feedback we received is that they have the necessary tools and technology to remain connected and productive while working from home offices. At this time, we have partially reopened some of our offices, but are taking a cautious and measured approach to have employees return. We continue to monitor our workplaces and add Covid-19 safety measures based on guidance from our HSSE and Covid committees. Our goal is to design and adopt a hybrid working workplace model in support of a more effective operational delivery capability that will deliver value to our clients.

While the Covid-19 situation remains unpredictable, we have been vigilant in anticipating and overcoming the obstacles it has presented. There are many uncertainties, and we expect to experience unforeseen impacts. From a financial and operational standpoint, Pragma is on a sound footing facing the current circumstances with confidence.

Our strength remains the design and delivery of asset management solutions. The pandemic created the perfect opportunity for us to have a critical look at our client offering. We have taken giant strides in the IIoT and digitalisation space and will launch a verity of new disruptive solutions to address our clients’ asset management needs. Our quick response to rapidly changing client needs has also opened new opportunities and produced follow on work at existing current clients.

During this time we have learned many valuable lessons and I am incredibly proud of the resilience and flexibility our employees have shown in meeting our business and client needs. When things got tough, the Pragma teams pulled together and consistently delivered on our client promise. Thank you for sticking with us and trusting our solutions.

Stay safe and take care of one another during this festive season.

God bless,
Adriaan Scheeres
Pragma Chief Executive Officer
