Each course consists of online learning modules and live engagement sessions:
- The Clerks Learning Pathway for data administrators, data capturers and clerks focuses on On Key usability, navigation and work order transactions.
- The Schedulers Learning Pathway for engineering planners, planner assistants, schedulers and supervisors also introduces the learner to the asset register and basic planning concepts.
- The Managers and Planners Learning Pathway is for engineering planners and maintenance managers looking to fully understand what On Key offers from a configuration and transactional point of view. This learning pathway covers the full scope of planning, scheduling and daily allocation.
Alternatively, you can complete any of the On Key learning modules as a standalone course.

This module focuses on basic configuration of the building of asset registers, asset type trees, etc. It encompasses principles of assets and asset types as well as providing demonstrations of creation of assets, asset types, component and the synchronisation and development process.

Basic Profiles
This module incorporates the basic ways in which data can be extrapolated and viewed based on the different requirements of certain users. It looks at the concepts of profiles, charts and tab orders in On Key.

Resource Configuration
This module focuses on the master data related to resources in the creation and capturing of Work Orders. It encompasses principles of sections, trades and resource types.

Time Loss Configuration
This module focuses on the various time loss categories, types and reasons that can be configured in On Key. It deals with time losses in regard to work order downtimes which can be classified as availability, utilisation or performance losses.

Manually Created Work Orders
This module focuses on how to execute transactions in On Key Plus regarding work that needs to be done on equipment. It enables the user to understand the difference between a work request and a work order as well as to create work orders and work requests in On Key Plus.

Validating Work Orders
This module focuses on how work orders should be validated. It is derived from best practices and shows you the basic understanding from an On Key perspective the process which work orders follow. This module will enable you to use On Key in alignment with the maintenance process you have in your organisation.

Planning Basics
Planning is a crucial function of all engineering departments. This module gives a brief overview of planning in general and then focuses on the generation and creation of scheduled maintenance activities in On Key Plus.

Live engagement sessions are scheduled in advance, according to set calendar dates, and allow learners an opportunity to engage with a facilitator and peers to discuss key learning concepts.

Our training approach
The courses are delivered in a blended approach using eLearning, discussion forums and virtual instructor led training (VILT). The VILT sessions are led by a subject matter expert and allow learners to ask detailed questions and get insights into how these practices can work in their environment.
- The online learning is available on the Pragma Academy Portal, our learning management system.
- The modules are self-guided and allow you the opportunity to learn and immediately apply your knowledge in your workplace.
- The virtual classroom contact sessions are set in advance so that you can plan to attend a date that suits you.
- During the virtual classroom session, you will engage with a facilitator and peers to discuss key concepts and have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
