This training programme follows the proposed learning pathway for Data Administrators, Data Capturers and Clerks using On Key 5 in their working environment.
course outline and expected outcomes
This module focuses on and allows users to Access On Key,Navigate,Installing Silverlight,Logging Off On Key,Viewing of Asset/Asset Type Tree Structures and the different grid lists and options. At the end of this module the learner is required to complete a Quiz relating to all material provided at which he/her would have to obtain a pass mark of 75% to proceed to the next Module.
Accessing On Key Profiles
This module encorporates the basic ways in which data can be extrapolated and viewed based on the different requirements of certain users. It looks at the concepts of Profiles ,Charts and Tab Orders in On Key.
This module gives a general overview of Staff members in On Key. It enables the learner to configure the necessary pre requisite master data in terms of Sections,Trades and Calendars to subsequently configure a particular Staff member.At the end of this module the learner is required to complete a Quiz relating to all material provided at which he/her would have to obtain a pass mark of 75% to proceed to the next Module.
Unscheduled Work Orders
This module focuses on how to execute transactions in On Key regarding work that needs to be done on equipment. It enables the user to understand the difference between a work request and a work order as well as to create Work Orders and Work Requests in On Key.At the end of this module the learner is required to complete a Quiz relating to all material provided at which he/her would have to obtain a pass mark of 75% to proceed to the next Module.
Feedback On Work
This module focuses on the capturing of feedback from work orders back into the system. It outlines the crucial details that need to filled in on work orders as well as enables the user to execute these transactions in On Key.

Accredited training is an outcomes-based learning programme aligned to the NQF registered unit standards and qualifications and approved by the relevant SETA or QCTO.
NQF registered unit standards are in place to ensure that learning and assessments result in nationally recognised credits, and ultimately can result in the achievement of a formal qualification.

The National Qualifications Framework
National Qualifications Framework is a comprehensive system approved by the Minister for the classification, registration, publication and articulation of quality assured national qualifications.
Sub-framework means one of three coordinated qualifications sub-frameworks which make up the NQF as a single integrated system:
The Higher Education Qualifications Sub-Framework: a qualification accredited by the Council of Higher education (CHE) and offered by a provider that is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET)
The General and Further Education and Training Sub-Framework: a qualification accredited by Umalusi and offered by a provider that is registered with the DHET or by the Head of the Provincial Department of Education.
The Occupational Qualifications Sub-Framework: a qualification accredited by the Quality Council on Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and offered by institutions that accredited by the appropriate authority and registered with DHET (as required).
