Skills Development
We are committed to provide passionate young talent the opportunity to further develop their skills and gain industry knowledge to become worthy contributors to the global economy.
We offer aspiring students internships, and we run one dedicated vacation programme in June/July each year. Due to the requirements for learnerships, we currently do not qualify to offer any. Job shadowing in Pragma is limited to a meeting with a person in the sought after career where the scope and opportunities in that career are discussed. We do not offer bursaries.
Internships
We offer workplace integrated learning (WIL) opportunities to University of Technology students. These are mainly in the fields of engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical and industrial), but also include other fields such as finance, marketing, HR and ICT.
This enables students to satisfy course requirements for practical experience, while helping Pragma connect with the future stars of the engineering industry.
Internships are advertised on our recruitment portal, so students interested in such internships must register on the portal to receive notifications of available positions.
Student Training Programme
Our Student Training Programme is a three-week work journey of professional and personal development. This annual programme takes place during the July university holidays and is specifically aimed at B.Eng. (Industrial, Mechanical and Electrical) students in their third or fourth year of study. Attendance enables students to fulfil university requirements for vacation work. Read more about the programme and the reviews of previous students.
Students interested in this programme must register on our recruitment portal, to receive notifications when applications for the programme opens.
