C&D Foods has approved the implementation of On Key 5 as the enterprise asset management (EAM) system for their production plant in Spain. This plant is one of the largest dry pet food production plants on the Iberian Peninsula. It is located in the north-western Spanish plain close to Valladolid in Spain’s largest grain-growing region. A committed management team is working with a Continuous Improvement philosophy, implementing Lean tools to achieve world class manufacturing and full customer satisfaction. The plant is capable of producing 120,000 tons per year in a range of plastic and paper packs from 400g to 20kg.
This is the 5th manufacturing plant in C&D Foods that implement On Key 5 with the manufacturing plants in Edgeworthstone (Ireland), Ijmuiden (Netherlands), Driffield (UK) and Larkshall (UK) already successfully using On Key.
Pragma Acuity has become a key partner to C&D Foods in their committed drive towards Manufacturing Excellence through the implementation and support of On Key 5. Implementation of the Spain site is planned to start in March 2016.
