Pragmas Johannes Coetzee elected as GFMAM ViceChairman

It is with great pride that we announce Johannes Coetzee’s election as the latest Vice-Chairman of the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM).

“I feel honoured to be part of such a renowned organisation. I look forward to serving GFMAM in pursuing their goals to develop and promote knowledge, standards and education for the maintenance & asset management professions. It is a real privilege to interact with some of the biggest names in the profession and to be able to exchange knowledge and experience with different regions across the world.” says Johannes.

Johannes will serve on the Executive Committee of GFMAM alongside well-known authorities in the field of Maintenance and Asset Management, namely:

  • Nezar Al-Shammasi – Middle East (Chairman)
  • Edmea Adell – Western Europe (Secretary)
  • Robert Lash – North America and the Caribbean. (Treasurer)
  • John Hardwick – South Pacific Area
  • Tsutomu Nakamura – Southeast Asia
  • JR Lafraia – South and Central America

The Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) is an association of professional maintenance and asset management societies formed for the purpose of knowledge creation and sharing and for information exchange among their member societies.

We would like to congratulate Johannes Coetzee with this achievement and trust that he will perform his duties with grace and use his strengths to make the most of this opportunity to further the physical asset management agenda.
